Shipping, Production & Return Policy

At Mane & Feather, each item is crafted with care. Whether it’s hand-tooled leather, a custom-burned hat, or a cozy graphic tee. Because many of our pieces are made to order, production times vary depending on the item type.

Production Times

  • Ready-to-Ship Items: 2–5 business days

  • Graphic Apparel: 5–7 business days
    Our graphic apparel is printed and shipped by our trusted printing partners located in Canada and the USA. Orders are automatically fulfilled from the location closest to you whenever possible.

  • Custom Hats: 1–3 weeks

  • Custom Leatherwork: 2–6 weeks

Please note that these are estimates and may vary slightly based on order volume, materials availability, or design complexity. We’ll always do our best to keep you updated if there are any delays.

Shipping

All orders are shipped from our studio in Alberta, Canada. (With the exception of graphic apparel fulfilled by our print partners).

  • We ship using Canada Post or various trusted couriers, depending on the size, value, and destination of your order.

  • You’ll receive a tracking number once your order ships.

  • Shipping times depend on your location and chosen shipping method and are in addition to production times listed above.

  • Orders over $100 (before tax) ship free within Canada and the USA.

 

Shipments may incur customs fees depending on the destination country. These fees can vary based on your order value, country limits, and other factors determined by your local customs agency.

Any applicable fees or import duties are the responsibility of the customer and are paid directly to the appropriate customs authority.

Rush Orders

If you need an item by a specific date, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll do our best to accommodate when possible, depending on our current workload and material availability.

Local Pickup

Local pickup is available near Okotoks, Alberta.  Select the pickup option at checkout, and we’ll contact you to arrange a time once your order is ready.

Custom & Handmade Disclaimer

Each Mane and Feather piece is handmade, so slight variations in color, texture, and design are part of what make your item truly one of a kind. Custom and made-to-order items are final sale.​​

Returns & Exchanges

Because many of our items are custom-made or made-to-order, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on:

  • Custom hats

  • Hand-tooled leatherwork

  • Personalized or made-to-order items

However, if your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can make it right. We may request photos of the issue to assist with a resolution.

Ready-to-ship items and graphic apparel may be eligible for return or exchange within 14 days of delivery, provided they are unworn, unwashed, and in original condition.

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to an error on our part.

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method once the returned item is received and inspected.
